PAUL CASE is a Los Angeles based-via New
York- comedian/actor/producer, known for his dry, sarcastic and honest
observational humor. He has performed across the country and in Canada to
shell-shocked audiences on a weekly basis for over 9 years.
Always hustling,
Paul was previously the co-host of the here!TV podcast,
"Bent" and appeared on the network's TV special "Hot Gay Comics,
LIVE," as well as several other here!TV programs. He has
been a guest on Sirius Satellite
Radio's "The Judith Reagan Show," "The Derek and Romaine
Show" and "The Frank DeCaro Show" as well as "D-Listed
Radio with Daniel Nardicio," NYC's own "The Barry Z Show" and
the popular podcast "'The Six Pack' with Ben Harvey and Dave Rubin". Paul has also been seen on NBC, MTV, AMC,
PBS, OWN, Logo, the Oxygen Network and the Discovery Channel.
Paul has been seen in NEXT and HX magazines,
the German magazine "Du und Ich" and was featured in "'Metro
NY's"' Joke of the Week,' as well as the popular blog "thegayplaces.com". He is
currently working on his first book- "Cerebral Paul-sey," a
collection of essays- many of which were part of his first solo-show "I
Love and Hate You All" which sold out in New York City, 2011. His second show, "Raising the Bar"
premiered in Los Angeles in April, 2012 and sold out in New York City the
following September. He presented a material workshop night, "An Evening
With Miss Case," in September, 2012 in Hollywood. Paul's solo shows offer up stand-up, story-telling, "song-o-logues" and commentary that weave themselves together into an evening of enchantment.
As a producer, Paul has co-presented the
twice sold-out "Miss Fag Hag Pageant- a benefit for The Hetrick-Martin
Institute," featuring the likes of John Cameron Mitchell, Caroline Rhea,
Leslie Jordan, Hedda Lettuce and "Village Voice" legend Michael
Musto. He was
also the co-producer of "The Back Room"- a staple weekly comedy show
at New York's "Comix" comedy club that ran for four years. “
Currently, he co-produces the LA based show “Friends with Benefits: The Hot Dog
Show”- a stand-up extravaganza featuring comedy and free hot dogs.
When he's not performing, Paul likes Pinot Grigio, Adidas track
pants, 80's girl bands, “The L Word”, gift bags and quoting “Madonna, Truth or Dare”.
